We recently went on a birding tour in the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington. We saw Orca (from a distance) near Salmon Banks. But the star attraction was the Puffins and other sea birds around Smith Island. Thanks to my friend Ken Rea of the Spirit of Orca for a fantastic afternoon.
