Melting snow in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State turns into water that flows down the mountains and back into the ocean where the earth’s critical water cycle begins again. I’ve long been attracted to the energy and forms created by in the rivers’ powerful flow. These images were made at the Horseshoe Bend of the Nooksack River below Mt. Baker.
