Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are subjected to a lot of overcast and rainy days. However, we rarely get thunderstorms, which I find to be a dramatic subject to photograph, but don’t often have the opportunity to photograph. The American Southwest endured a particularly “bad” monsoon season this past summer, which significantly affected our “Around the Rockies” road trip.
